Halloween special

2 WEEKS AFTER FIRST INFECTION

5 people walk into a dark, filthy alley, littered with several corpses of body that appear to look similar to zombies. One of them has a hand sticking up in the air, lacking a thumb. One person, who wears a white lab coat and has grayish hair, walks up, carrying a syringe gun in his hand, and stops at the thumb-less corpse. This man is known as the Medic.

"Stoppen! I need to examine zhis." said Medic, looking closely.

"Don't take too long to smear that stuff everywhere. I'm just glad you've got gloves to spare and I have my vodka." Replied Nikolai, a Russian veteran of war  holding his weapon and a bottle of the intoxicating drink. He is followed with Joe, a marine and guy trying to enjoy life, his nobody Xejo, and Mizore Shirayuki, a Yuki-onna (Japanese for "Snow woman," who can control ice).  The Medic looked at the corpse and turned around with an expression of frustration.

"Zey're changing!" Medic said, flicking some of the green goo towards Nikolai.

"AUGH, CHYORT!! That stinks! Why did you do that!?" Nikolai exclaimed, barely dodging the goo. Joe chuckles a little bit at this.

"This epidemic is crazy. We haven't seen anybody else yet."  Xejo said.

"Well, at least we're lucky to be immune to this." Joe said. Then some crying is heard coming from inside a room in one of the buildings. Joe and Mizore walk over to the door to examine what's going on.

"Someone's alive." Mizore said. They open the door carefully to the dark room. The crying becomes a little louder as a silhouette of a girl can be seen. Mizore and Joe then crouch and walk slowly towards the girl, using a flashlight to guide them. "Hello? It's okay. We're here to help-" She then is cut off by Joe covering the flashlight.

"LIGHTS OFF. We don't know yet if she isn't…you know" Joe whispered. Then they creep up slowly. Mizore summons an ice claw just for protection while Joe has his M16 assault rifle out at a moment's notice. Outside, Xejo  looks off into the distance at the end of the alley. Then he hears some screaming and moaning like sounds. And sees some more zombie runs towards them.

"Oh crap," Xejo said while Nikolai and Medic start shooting at them. "Dang it! Dang it! THEY'RE COMING!" Xejo yelled as he ran in with his flashlight on, which startles the girl, who turns out to be one the zombies, or what they called a Witch. Its eyes then glow red and it screeches.

"RUN FOR IT!!"Joe screamed. The three run out just as soon as the witch begins to attack and Xejo slams the hard metal door as it almost got there and presses against it make sure the Witch didn't get out. The Witch then slams on the door two times until its arm is out trying to attack him. Xejo then begins to shoot at it with an MP5.

"Die, witch, DIE!" He says while attacking. Eventually the witch falls over dead.

"Stick together!" Yelled Joe while firing his rifle. Nikolai used a PPsh-41, a submachine gun that should have been outdated by WWII. ((Nikolai: It's a great weapon!)) Mizore used some ice shards she can form in addition to a silenced pistol.  Zombie seemed to have been charging just about from all corners. Everyone seemed to be fighting of wave after wave of zombies.

Then everything seemed to have calmed down. The group then walk out onto the street, where an Army humvee was parked on part of the street and sidewalk. On the jeep was bottled water, a radio, some guns and ammo, med-kits, and a map. Nikolai walked up and picked up one of the guns, a sawed-off shotgun.

"Ah my old friend, how I have missed you." He said picking up the gun.  Joe then examined the map with the Medic while Mizore and Xejo looked inside the humvee and its engine to see if it worked.

"According to the map the Army has some sort of wall or block from the zombies in the city. Unless we reach this checkpoint several miles away, they might bomb the place." said examining the map.

"But what if they decide to bomb the place before we exit?" Mizore asked.

"Simple. Ve radio zem!" The Medic replied. He then grabbed the radio and turned the dial. "Hello, is anyone online?!?!!" He said into the microphone.

"Who *static* is this? Medic is that you?" said a voice on the radio.

"No it's Valter Sobchak (Walter Sobchak). Yes, it's me dumkopf!" Medic said.

"Thank goodness! We thought we had lost you guys in the investigation!"
Replied the voice, which turned out to David, friend of Joe. Joe then walked up and took the microphone.

"Mind the Medic, he's a little tired," Joe said to David. The Medic then sat down seeming to confirm what Joe said. "We're still alive, but we're still stuck in the city. We found a Humvee though and some supplies and we think we can drive ourselves to the checkpoint before they bomb the area or whatever the plan of action is."

"Well good. It hasn't been decided on, but it would be best if you reached us soon!" David replied.

"Copy that." Joe said.

"Hope to see you at the check*static* point soon. *static* Good *static*-uck!" David said when it cut off. Just when Joe was about to turn it off, a creepy laugh was made on the radio.

"I got a bad feeling about this..." Xejo then said closing the hood. Then the laugh continued and it was soon apparent that the laugh wasn't on the radio.  It seemed to be coming from nowhere.

"AH HA HA HA HA....Fetch me their souls!" said the voice. Then suddenly thunder roared and a burst of electricity appeared in front of Nikolai. Out the electricity, came what appeared to be a flaming, zombie-like dog. It then snarled and charged at Nikolai, who shot back and killed the dog.

"Get the vehicle started!" Mizore yelled from the side of it. Several more dogs then appeared in similar bursts. Joe, Nikolai and Medic shot back at them while Mizore moved stuff into the car and Xejo fixed the engine quickly. Then Medic noticed a figure on top of a building and shot at it.

"AHH!!!!" The figure yelled and fell down to the ground. The figured yelled in the same voice that had been made earlier. It was apparently an infected man, who seem to "lead" the dogs.

"It's fixed! GET IN!" Xejo screamed slamming the engine door. He then ran into the driver's seat followed by the Medic in the front. Joe then ran into the back with Mizore and just when they were about to take off, it hit Joe.

"Where's Nikolai!?" Joe yelled. Nikolai apparently was running to a place where he set his vodka at and then grabbed it, when another dog charged him. He shot at it when another dog was about to get him from behind.

"STAY AWAY FROM MY VODKA!" Nikolai screamed while shooting. Suddenly, a shot killed the dog behind him. It was Joe, who ran to help Nikolai.

"GET IN THE HUMVEE!!!" Joe yelled at Nikolai.

"RIGHT COMRADE!" Nikolai replied running back to the vehicle with his guns and vodka in hand. Joe followed when several zombie and another dog appeared. Joe shot at them while running into the vehicle. He tried to close the door but several zombie arm's were preventing this. Then suddenly, ice shards were launched at the zombies, pushing them back, giving Joe enough time to close the door and lock it.

"Thanks Mizore, I owe you one. Now let's get the crap out of here!!!" Joe said. Xejo then floored it, leaving behind some zombies chasing them. The group had escaped.......
